Sevillana Imports is a company of 'Industrias El Carmen', a venezuelan industry dedicated to the production and distribution of liquors and spirits for the venezuelan and international market. Sevillana Imports was born as an ambitious project, destined to repeat the success achieved in Venezuela, and which now assumes the challenge to fulfill the demands and exigencies of the north-american consumer.
Since 1999, Sevillana Imports began its operations in Florida and initiated then a successful commercial trajectory, distributing the main product of its ample brand portfolio: Sangrķa Sevillana.
In addition, Sevillana Imports offers to the demanding local market an ample product range, that includes rums to isotonic or substitute drinks. This ample variety of products is thought and developed to satisfy the expectations of our consumers.
In order to understand the history of Sevillana Imports, we must go back in time and discover the beginnings of Industrias El Carmen. This well-known venezuelan industry was founded on february 1st, 1962 by Juan Bello Miron, Gilberto Ojeda Miron and Felipe Martinez, focusing its activities in the manufacturing of wine, based on tropical fruits, such as banana, orange and pineapple.
By 1985, they decide to expand the company acquiring "Industria Licorera Selecta, C.A.", which was totally absorbed during 1987, and the reason for Industrias El Carmen to settle in Valencia, an industrial city in the Carabobo State of Venezuela. This move led to the expansion and modernization of the manufacturing plant that Industrias El Carmen is nowadays.
During the '90s, exactly in 1996, Industrias El Carmen decides to enter in the competitive enology business with the market acceptance of its new wines and sangria, using raw materials imported from Chile.
Due to its imminent growth, Industrias El Carmen decides to export its ample product portfolio and founded in 1997, in Miami, Florida: Sevillana Imports Inc., which began importing in 1999 its attractive line of products: Sangria Sevillana, Tequila Chiapas, Rum Coro and Coconis, a coconut based liquor. These products immediately grabbed the acceptance of the north-american market.

Within our portfolio is an ample line of beverages that include: sangria, wine, rum, brandy, anise and non-alcoholic, isotonic or substitutive drinks among others. Besides this great variety, we are always experimenting and developing new ways that will allow us to make the best products, in order to openly compete within the local and international markets.
